Jessica Huerta is a Wardrobe Stylist, the founder of Madame Black Designs, and professional freelance Costume Designer known for her bold and edgy designs. Her work has been featured in music videos, commercials, TV/Film, print, and international live performances. Jessica’s unique style—which often incorporates unique fabrics such as latex, silk, leather and similar fabrics—is often described as bold Sci-Fi for its striking mix of sensual silhouettes and character-driven creations. Jessica’s passion for creating eccentric costumes of the highest quality breaks through the typical and stands out. More than simply garments, Jessica’s original designs help to define and build characters for her projects.
Jessica is a member of Costume Designer’s Guild 892 where she works as a Costume Designer and also IATSE Local 705 where she serves as a Costumer. Throughout her career, she has designed for well-known artists and personalities, including Quavo-Huncho, Alice Cooper, Usher, Empire of the Sun, Coldplay, Cirque du Soleil’s Ekaterina Pirogovskaya, Nikki Reed, Gillian Jacobs, Tyga, Walle, Trey Songz, Alexandra Breckenridge, Lil Kim, Lindsey Stirling, Crazy Horse Paris's Lada Nikolska. Jessica also contributed to the incredible costumes seen on Insecure season 5, This Is Us, Everything Is Going to be Okay, Westworld, Interrogation, The World According to Jeff Goldblum, Station 19, Seal Team, Masters of Sex, Lucha Underground, and other popular shows.
Jessica Huerta was born in Los Angeles, CA. She currently lives in Orange County and Los Angeles, CA. Always looking to push the boundaries of edgy character design, Jessica continues to welcome new opportunities that allow her to contribute on projects big and small while showcasing her talents in a wide variety of mediums.
